About AI usage
— every plan includes an AI usage allowanceFeatures that use AI — AI-generated responses, AI Explorer, built-in AI analysis — draw from the AI usage allowance included in your monthly plan. No prepaid credits to buy or top up. Additional usage beyond the allowance is billed only if you explicitly enable it and set a cap, on eligible paid plans.
Frequently asked questions
- What do I get during the trial?
- For 14 days you get Pro-level features. Response counts, survey counts, seats, and storage stay at your current plan's limits (Free limits on Free, Starter limits on Starter). Enterprise features like SSO and long-term audit retention are not included in the trial.
- What happens to surveys I built with Pro features after the trial ends?
- Definitions and settings are not deleted. Forms using advanced conditions, repeat sections, or allocation will require a Pro upgrade to edit or republish. MCP keys keep their configuration but stop executing.
- What happens if I go over my response limit?
- On the free plan, response collection stops once you hit the cap. On paid plans, overage is billed based on your subscription: $5 (tax included) per 1,000 responses over the monthly cap, rounded up to the nearest 1,000.
- How does AI usage relate to the monthly plan?
- Each monthly plan (Free / Starter / Pro / Enterprise) unlocks features, seats, and response limits, and includes an AI usage allowance. AI features draw from that allowance. On eligible paid plans you can explicitly enable additional usage beyond the allowance, with a finite spend cap you set.
- What happens when I use up my AI allowance?
- If you haven't enabled additional usage, AI-related features become unavailable (this does not affect publishing surveys, collecting responses, or standard aggregation). On eligible paid plans, you can enable additional usage and set a cap in account settings. The Free plan does not support additional usage. Your plan's AI allowance resets at the start of each billing period.
- Can I change plans anytime?
- Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data is never deleted, but features outside your plan become unavailable.
